Thursday Night Training Nights 2019

2019 Open Water Training Nights- 18+ 

Due to popular demand we bring back our Thursday Night Training. This is an opportunity to swim in Windermere, around a small course to practice your skills, get a few coaching tips or just be in a safe open water swim venue, whilst having a social chat. 

VENUE: Windermere Outdoor Adventure Centre

If you swim freestyle, Breaststroke or a mix of everything, this is a perfect opportunity to come along and get involved.

Everyone welcome, no matter what ability. However we ask that you have experience and confience in the open water. By signing up to the sessions we understand that you happy in the open water.and know of no medical reason not to participate.

These sessions are help over 5 weeks. from 7.15pm – 8.15pm Starting Thursday the 23rd.

Sign up for 1 session = £9

Sign up for 5 Sessions = £7 per session, totalling £35

You have to sign up by 10am on the day of the swim as there are no drop in allowed.

If we have to cancel for any reason due to weather conditions or blue Green algae an email will be sent out that morning and the session will be rearranged to tag onto the end of the 5 weeks.

Please turn up and be down by the Public Jetties no later then 7.10pm for a safety briefing, to sign you in for the evening. Anyone missing the safety briefing will not be permitted to enter the water. Directions: Head to the adventure centre and walk straight down to the Lake and you will see us.

Parking – Please do not park at the venue, as these are reserved for the safety team, there is plenty of parking in the car park next door.
